Principles of Management

Guidelines on the management of Chronic Pelvic Pain (word doc) have been produced by Caroline Overton MBBS MD FRCOG FHEA, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, St Michael's Hospital, UHBristol.  It has been adapted from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Guideline No. 41 April 2005:  The Initial Management of Chronic Pelvic Pain.

For patients with musculoskeletal pain or bladder function/ pelvic floor problems may benefit from physio and can use the  self-referral form for the service at St Michael's Hospital.
