Restless Leg Syndrome

Checked: 23-04-2018 by Rob.Adams Next Review: 23-04-2019

Restless legs can be managed in primary care and referral to a specialist is only required if there is doubt about the diagnosis or if treatment is unsuccessful. Please see useful guidance on management from CKS:

Peripheral neuropathy and restless legs may co-exist. If peripheral neuropathy is also suspected, nerve conduction studies may be requested directly via referral to the Department of Neurophysiology at NBT
