Specialist Community Neurology
The Bristol Community Health Specialist Community Neurology Service is led by a range of healthcare professionals who support patients with a neurological impairment. Our service can provide physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy with the support of therapy assistants to those with a neurological diagnosis
They accept referrals for adults over the age of 18 years with an acquired neurological disorder/disease e.g. Parkinson’s disease, Motor Neuron Disease (MND), Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s Disease, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury and more.

The service is for anyone over the age of 18 who is registered with a Bristol GP.
The NSCP Community Neuro Service offers rehabilitation, therapy and support for patients over 18 years with long-term neurological conditions.
The specialist neurology therapy team is made up of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.
They have an Multiple Sclerosis (MS) nurse who supports people with MS to manage their disease as well as providing support and education to carers, health and social care professionals.
The specialist stroke nurse coordinator offers advice, information and support for people who have had a stroke within the past two years. They also provide training for service users, carers and colleagues
