HIV testing and prophylaxis treatment

HIV testing

HIV testing would normally be undertaken by the GP, particularly now when treatment is so beneficial.

Where there are delicate issues regarding HIV testing, patients can be referred to the specialist HIV team for pre test counselling.

For anonymous HIV testing contact Unity Sexual Health.

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEPSE)

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
